Life-Saving Secrets To Help You Through Any Challenge or Transition
It was 5:30 pm in the evening. I was moving and had shoved as much as I could into my tiny white Geo Prism to move to my new place.
I was sitting at a red light, 3 cars in when my car imploded.
Glass blinded me in one eye. When I looked down my knee was smashed up against the dashboard and I couldn’t move. I looked in the rearview mirror and a huge Cadillac was nested inside the rear end of my little car.
I heard sirens and soon, a nice fireman opened my door and slipped me out of the car. He asked me to be still. They thought I had broken my neck.
Then, I was in a hospital, looking up at the florescent lights and freezing.
A doctor’s voice faded into my consciousness. He was talking to my cousin, my closest family member, telling him that I may not be able to walk ever again. My eyes released silent tears that streamed down the side of my face.
I was a professional dancer. My life had just been taken away from me.
In my mind, I screamed. I wasn’t going to be defeated. I was not only going to walk, I was going to dance again.
My rehab started with me going to doctors I could afford, who were “in-network.” They helped, but I needed more. I needed specialists who could piece me back together. I couldn’t afford that, so I started charging the costs to my credit cards. After the accident insurance paid out, I owed over $15,000.
It took me 10 years of rehab, but I did start dancing again.
Three years later I took 1st place in a local dance competition. I felt like I had my life back, but through this process, my mind, body, and soul had been transformed.
What this challenge showed me is that I needed to learn how to take care of myself emotionally, financially, and physically. It also created a bigger calling for me to help others as well in creating what I call Blissful Wealth.

3) Enjoy the journey. Being blissful is an emotional habit. If you do not build that habit during the process of building wealth, you will not have access to that habit of being blissful after you have all the money you were striving for.
